I was giving a speech at a fairly stuffy labor law conference. Being me, I chose to wear my Daskal billiard ball tie with my otherwise conservative suit and look. After the speech, which went quite well, three different people came up to me and said words to the effect of: "when I saw your tie I just knew you were going to be a great speaker."
